Great afternoon thanks all and it does appear something broke..

Battery light was on since I left the mud puddles, seems the alternator wasn't\isn't charging so JUST made it home on battery, couldn't use indicators or breaks or my lights died

Some other light is on as well on the dash board, buggered if I know what so will get the alternator rebuilt during the week and worry about the other light when I find out what it's for..

Can someone post pictures of my triumphant failure of the mud hole? :P

Sorry I couldn't make it on the weekend. Had fuel issues. Sorted now.

Got in touch with a young fella I know has a tractor closeby and we pulled half a car out of the bog. Really don't know what else is still in there but will still need some care in the area as there was a bit of body and floor pan ripped off the remains we pulled out. Euan, when we were down there talking about a winch and pulling it out...      This young guy had the tractor up off the front wheels and used the hydraulic bucket on the back to move the whole weight of the tractor up and down against the suction to even move it intially.
