 Those 2 extra inches will probably add a $100 to each rim.... I priced 10"x15"s in just about every place in Napier/Hastings and most were around $150 - $160... managed to get em at $130each from hamilton

Seen a set on trade me, with worn tires sell for $120 for 4,
If you stick a good deal let us know, I need a set too make some beadlock's with

Yeah, there is a guy in Nelson with a set of 4 rims with worn 31 tyres on. Wants $120 for them, but you would probably want to have the tyres removed before freighting them. He also wasn't sure whether they were 7 or 8"

Let me know if interested, I have his contact number.

De-ranged.About these beadlocks. Is it better to have the rim width as close as possible to the tyres max recommendation?IE:tyre (33x10.5xR15)brand X states the min rim width of 7" recommends 8" max 9".

 Thats like asking whats the best truck
Different people have different veiws on this, depends on there experiances and style of driving, having a wider rim runs the tire "foot print" flater putting more rubber in contact, but it also puts the rim out there to get damaged
I'm looking at a 9" rim after I set up the beadlocks I intend to run 37"x12.5"x15" tires, being a big tire there wouldn't be much of a gain with the wider rim, and the original 8"rims are cheap 8) also the narrow size helps protect them a bit  there's alot of work in building beadlocks  and I dont want to spend that effort to have it damaged :(
