cant remem sry but it is i think under dash by glove box,has a adjusting screw on it,been years now when i had played with it

ill see if i can find any info

Found it...! Well, what I did find was the sensor signal amplifier module that ustilises the sensor behind the main timing pully of the Injector Pump. It is in behind the actual donor car tacho. A four wire plug has ignition, earth and the two sensor wires. I just happened to keep the donor car dash as a souvenir (that was lucky!) as the odometer showed the donor car milage.

Had a message from a guy in Australia that looked at his RD28, similar wiring but slightly different but I was able to sort it and I now have a useful signal. Will decide to either disect the donor car tacho and re-house it or put in an aftermarket tacho...
