can anyone measure up their drop boxes so i can make some?
dont see much point in paying $500 for something i can make

Drop boxes look real simple and I guess that basically they are, but there is a bit (small) amount of science. Drop boxes are pretty cheap to buy off the shelf when you take into account the steel, labour and rust protection.

agreed,don't do it ya self hours mount up, buying made up easier, and correct from the start

My view would be if your good enough to make em then you should have the skills to work out how too, no afence guys but this is what holds your axle in place, its not something you have a go at... this is a cert item also so any engineering you do would have to be to a high level to pass
