Come out to the winch challenge and get a look at the tracks. These tracks will be open to the public in the form of a 4wd park. It is shaping up to an interesting weekend.

hmmm can i go on it without paying??? i jsut want to test my truck, as ive done a shitload of work, and jsut sent my truck back in just a min ago to get raised abit mroe as tyres are rubbing, and panel beating my wheel arches costs to much as no panel beater wants to touch it :( if i got to pay id much prefer to stay closer to christchurch and go somewhere aroudn here, id been keen for ashley river again... i went up not long ago after the rain and it was a good trip

ooo yeah im running 35" tyres now so yeah, i need to test the travel out on the magain as ive raised my truck more to try stop them rubbing, as i went to 2 panel beatters today asked them if they make my wheel arches bigger, they said they dont wont to get involved with my truck cause its gonig to be insanely complecated to refab all the parts to make my truck work, and they said if they did do it theyl charge between $4,000 (crap finish( up to $10,000 (good neat finish) so yeah i jsut putting 40mm spacers in to lift the body up abit more, then if its still rubbing going to throw some spacers into the beam axel to stop it travelling os much.... all up ill ahve a umm... 130-150mm body raise

You seem to be developing a problem that many have...they modify there truck to be much more capable...then they have trouble finding places to go that are challenging.....maybe you should of left your truck how it was then youd be able to find lots of challenging places to play easily....its kinda boring being able to not get stuck lol

na man, i was having huge problems with the hilux difs, so i broke my 2nd hilux dif was liek screw this im making my truck stronger... so i got the beam axel done, was pondering one day was like hmm mars well throw sum 35" on it to save money isntead of doubling up my cert,, soo got 35" aswell.. then i had trouble because my rear wheel arches wernt big enuf to give 35" tyres the travel so i had to option, one to either get a panel beatter to cut them bigger(to expensive) or to do aonther body lift(40mm) which i did

but i dont mind ae, theres some parts of the waimak which require 35" tyres now ive found, due to the floods, theyve made the ruts so deep and muddy 33" tyres bottom out ae, but i jsut liek 4x4 dotn acre if its not extreme, jsut driving or being apart of it is good enough for me, so anyone wont to say where to go on saturday, or you all heading up to hamner?

Hey Nick,

It's nice hearing about your truck, but could you take a little more time to spell check your posts? The last 2 or 3 were shocking.

Cheers
