Time to put my money where my mouth is. I will try to get his phone number tomorrow or the Mrs may have it. My truck isn't up to stratch so I will have to pass but I will get the contact details, last time I spoke they said it would be fine but last thing you want to happen is rocking up to the door and being told no.
Even if it's to late for this weekend I will get it anyway and pass the details straight to Mike

How about Riversdale station Sth Wairarapa - approx 2 1/2 hours from WGTN. They will charge you $40-45 for access ( per vehicle for a day
). Its 10000acres a mixture of rivers, easy tracks , steep tracks and after the rain some boggy bits.
I can dig out contact details and map if you are interested.

just been to turangi and dont fancy driving all the way back there this weekend.
So is it a quiet weekend or are there people interested in having a play somewhere?
Maybe I'll just rest the surf so its fresh for the easter trip down south

Yes... It's been bulldozed to allow for the logging trucks. Even the big water hole has been drained. Still mud around but easy. Accually I was soooo bored I did the return trip in 2 wheel drive only.... And didn't get stuck. And No I don't have a LSD diff...

Hey Mike, Been in contact with our friends in Long Valley. They are giving me a call back in the next couple of days. The have closed the farm off as of late due to people stealing and vandalising stuff. His wife didn't think it would a problem and I said that it would only be for arranged trips not a free for all. I will pass on the details to you once we get the ok

Just finished talking to his wife and we have a green light. Give me a yell when you want to plan a trip and I will call him. I can then hand it over to you once you meet him.
I guess a recce is needed first,
