Hi guys new to this forum, but have been watching it for a while (hours of entertainment) This is the best forum for vids and chat I am in Canterbury and bought a GQ Safari standard 7 months ago and I now have the 4wd bug slowly modifiying it so far: 25ml body, 75ml suspension, 35" creeepy crawlers, snorkel, K&N air filter, diff and gear box breathers, warn winch, front bar, cut rear lower gaurds, and the usural replacing old and broken gear. Keen to start doing some of these west coast tracks I hear so much about. Does off road express have club trips as keen to go with some experienced guys?

Welcome to the Site
Sounds like you are getting the truck set up quite well. ORE is mainly for chat etc. They generally only have a trip to the West Coast once a year and there is one to Westport next Easter.

Most active 4 wheelers belong to other clubs so if you want to go to the West Coast I would recommend you join one of the Christchurch 4x4 Clubs and then you will meet people who are active 4 Wheelers and have a trip calendar.
I Have been to the Coast 3 times in the last 2 months ,once with the Canterbury Landrovers owners club , once with the Buller Club and last weekend with the Blenheim club and a lot of my friends do the same.

Cheers Richard
