How do I tell what ratio the rear diff is on my surf

Hi guys, need a quick answer. How do I tell what ratio diff my surf has. It has a 3y. Would it be a 4.88?

no idea but you could check the plate on the firewall against this page

thanks, it turns out its a 4.5 ratio. Anyone have a 4.5 or a 4.8 ring and pinion for sale?

I have a 4.88 ring & pinion from my hilux. In good cond, removed when fitted 5.29s. $75.00 + freight. I am in Motueka. Pm me
