vitara for trialing

Post by Heath »

Anyone know of any for sale (set up for trialing that is) the owners have tired of or moved on to bigger things? Or thinking of getting rid of at the end of this season.

My budget is small though so super modifieds will be out of my price range. Dents and scratch damage is cool but clear of anything that will stop me from competing would be a necesity (unless easily fixed).

I am after something for the unmodified 4cylinder class. Basically just tyres, rollcage and safety harnesses I guess for mods.

So there you have it I want everything and am willing to pay next to nothing (well not quite)

Cheers for any responces

Heath.

Is there a trials scene in the sth island (may be shifting there in the future and want to take that into account also) sorry to sound stupid.

dont know anyone selling one sorry heath but i will let guys know that youre looking..

with the trialing in the south well i only think theres a couple trucks down there and i think its only a north island thing but thats not to say the sthlanders cant come up and compete.i know a guy from up here that went down a few years back for something in chch but he said theres no competition down there to make it challenging...

flag the trails truck and build a surf dedicated to rocks   im sure mike can lead you in the direction :P cos there aint many forrests let alone public forrests  but as for the rivers take youre pic.........

best of luck dude

Nah dont like the surfs, drive a Chevrolux myself. Although some lower gears would be nice (2nd tcase maybe).

I thought that them down south would be into trialing. Is it a case of too little population to make it worthwhile?

Still can use one here for a few years yet. Had intended in giving the Taupo 1000 a go in a vitara for the experience (and bragging rights).

I guess if something a bit modified came up I would give it some thought.

I guess I just like the "technical aspects" of trialing and the hilux just doesnt do it for me (too big and too long).
