Adding two stroke to diesel

Post by Genie4x4 »

just add 1 oz of two stroke oil per gallon to your diesel tank, marine 2 stroke seems to go well. you will get around 2mpg saving which isnt much but whats the benefits?

Have a look around the net.....it came in better than most additives, decreases those toxic gases better than normal diesel, lubricates pump etcthat was lost when sulphur was removed, decreases the engine rattle and no it doesnt smoke like a two stroke.

Do not use with new common rail systems but great for our older pump systems.

Read this http://www.audi-sport.net/vb/showthread.php?t=48309 and do a search on adding two stroke to diesel

Id be very careful about doing this.

IN Europe they have less Sulphur in there Diesel & often small amounts of Bio-Diesel....this changes the characteristics of the Diesel greatly.so its very different to the NZ Diesel

NZ diesel has the sulphur removed and adding two stroke oil to it wont hurt it unless you have a common rail motor in which case it can be abrasive to the injectors, if you read the link it explains it all. also there is information about independant tests, showing out of 20 diesel additives 2 stroke came in 7th.

WRONG...a cpl of years ago they moved to a lower Sulphur Diesel...but our Diesel still has a higher Sulphur content to European Diesel
