three wheeling

Post by hiriklux »

well went down to otago with steve (supralux)to pick up a surf the other weekend which was all good had chance to do a bit of 4wheeling :D :D :D which was the start of the troubles   had a bit of bad luck with a tree and stoved the passenger door in a little but not to bad then managed to get stuck :( :( and caught on video :( :( :( so it could not get any worse!!!!!!!!!!!!
so back to steve's parents for a pie and coffee to swap the wheels back to 31 s for the trip home (lesson learned here always check and double check )so off we go climbed out of naesby and upto warp speed and it all went wrong!!!! :( :( lost front passenger side wheel at 100k ish which was a bit un nerving !!!!!! worst part was retrieving the wheel which had f***ed of about 1/2 k across some tussock paddock

then the ute slid off the hilift and put a dint in the bonnet :( :( :( so after a little assisstance from steve's dad with wheel nuts we set off back to ch ch to the terretts shed to drop the surf off ,and on arrival thought we'd swap the wheels again :D which all went wrong again and stripped a wheel stud (hence the name terretts shed because we pumped some f***s into it) so off with the old and on with the new by this time it was stupid oclock in the morning and the birds were up again but i was up and running so cheers mate

I hate it when things just don't go right. Really pisses me off. I've got a terretts garage at home as well.

Haha... terretts doesn't quite cover that trip... scariest thing I think I have seen in a rear view mirror (apart from this really fat chick I saw on a moped once... but thats another story :P)

Sparks and towards the end, flames from the hub... finally got home about 1:30 or 2am... then changing the wheels 2 studs just decided to die... but on the OTHER hub to the one that fell off! So rebuilt that one, finishing about 4:30 or 5am from memory... on my bloody birthday too! So I missed most of that sleeping :P

Never mind, wait till he gets the bill

Doing me a favour? Eating all my pies, staying at my parents, drinking my dads beer (my inheritance! :P)... and scaring me shitless!

...Then the Surf we went to get lasted about 3 days at his place before the gearbox blew up... gotta go check down the back of his property for Surf tyre marks in the dirt :P

But yeah, he did give me a lift down there... which was good... lol...
