Escudo Front Diff Torque Settings.

Post by ONOescudo »

Hi all.
Going to replace the old broken crown wheel and pinion in my Escudo front diff. (well the man at the garage is).
We need:
 Back lash.
 Pinion torque.
 Crown wheel bolts torque.
Also replacing bearings and seals and crush spacer.

Have just spent $25 on an online workshop manual at www.tradebit.com “ 1996-1998 SUZUKI SIDEKICK & GEO TRECKER SERVICE MANUAL” and for my wagon it is useless.
Have also done quite a bit of searching.
Any help on these specs would be great.

if the man at the garage doesnt know how to set a diff up i would be takeing it elsewhere, i put my last 2 together my self and i am no mechanics ass, i just gave mine a fraction of play and it seems to be sweet, you could ring a diff shop and ask them for the specs.
