"STEERING DILEMMA"

Post by tintin »

I recently blew a seal in my steering rack and run the system dry, had the rack reconditioned and then the pump made a funny noise like air in the line and not pumping properly and harder to turn, got another pump and the same thing is happening, could both pumps be nackered or is there a nack to bleeding the system
can anyone help?

fill resivior
jack front off the ground
start engine
turn steering from lock to lock
re-fill resivior
turn lock to lock again
re-fill resivior
lock to lock

keep doing this until the level stays at full

then its done
