well got energetic tonight and decided id better chop the canopy so i at least started now.........

more tomorrow....lots more to do ....
chop deck and flat deck on
swap non turbo engine with turbo engine outa whale
spring shackle lift
new shocks...longer
auto lokka in front
lsd in rear remove weldrite
exo cage
respray
winch to be mounted
35" tyres
shitloads more little bits
so be no 4wheeling for awhile......

noooooooooooo i stripped door, swingaway, wiring, lights off now need to trim fiberglass then into it with disc grinder no pics today............

Had a burst of energy today and chopped the beast took abit more than i expected but almost ready to weld back together again

and yes the rear door is going back in the hole
bonus too the 500 or so kgs of mud trapped underneath the floor lifted the rear end bout an inch ......

sorted the shackle ANGLE out had stinky stand on the back so its add 150kgs and its all good. :lol: :lol: :lol:

All happening at the Redneck Monster Garage when I visited today :D , the water is to keep the back drom bouncing. Taz I think there are still some of your old hilux sandbags up at rallywoods.

Excuse my ignorance, but knowing nothing about Nissians 8) is that inverted shackle angle factory?
looks like it has high arch lift springs, with no extension of the shackle. Causing the spring to hit the chassis when the diff moves up. :?

ummmm hence the water on the back the shackles sorta went that way when i chopped the back off so meanwhile will add more weight to fix it.............no time this week to do much else before firewood loop

Why not prune the chassis back to the spring hangers at some stage when you get round to it??

Looks like there would be room to do it even with the fuel tank in its standard position!!!

looking at that tray all i can think is that i'm sure we could find a use for some screened topsoil at rallywoods..... :lol: :lol: :lol:
