Navara ute suspension mods

Post by heavy d »

Hi all. Im pretty much new to 4wd so excuse my probably naive questions. My ute (d21 navara)is really bouncy in the rear with no weight in it, so i was hopeful of being able to soften it up. I see it looks pretty easy to remove leafs from springs, but i wasnt sure if this would result in softer or lower suspension? If i do that should i replace the shocks as well? also is there a way of raising my truck wihtout fitting all new suspension?

Any help appreciated :D
Cheers

sounds like the shocks are stuffed.

you should be able to do 2-3" lift easy enough. either add a leaf or get the rear springs reworked. the fronts you can pull the torsion bars out and turn them 3 notch's (i think) around. that should give you 2-3" raise with a fair bit of adjustment left with the adjuster.
