Put my new rev gauge and water temp gauge in tonight and all wired up. Didn't like the monster tacho it came with originally and the new ones look way nicer. :)

Cleaned out my radiator today and the rest of the truck. Turned the truck on and realised you can hardly see the reading on the new guages :x :x . And when the thermostat opened water went flying out the resevoir and temp shot up to 120degrees c. :( Don't know whats wrong and have to go out. Oh well more work for tomorrow.

There is no mechanical problem so difficult that it cannot be solved by brute strength and ignorance.

LOL glad to see im not the only one that has a Arc G-clamp that looks like a seagull's shat all over it!

looking good Coxsy, must get off my rear end and sort some for the Paj, got the steel, lack the motivation

My sum total of 4wd'ing this weekend was snatching a Subaru WRX buried to the chassis on Baylys beach, full of French tourists .. came ripping down the beach ..wide arc onto the soft stuff and stopped facing uphill on the loose dry stuff *twats* . sat there a few minutes just waiting for them to dig in .. sure enough a couple of minutes later they tried to drive away, uphill of course .. in less than a second the WRX was sitting on the chassis rails going nowhere :? watched them for about 15 minutes tring to dig themselves out with no recovery gear and not a clue (hey it an All wheel drive .. it can go anywhere) decided that since the tide was fast coming in id better go pull them out. last thing the locals need is yet another wreck poluting up that beach. hooked up the strap that was a mission in itself as WRX's dont have much in the way of tow hooks, ended up using the winch extention strap to share the load between those allfuly thin hooks, as it was both where a little straighter by the time we had got back to hard sand!

well went for an afternoon drive with a m8 on a farmers land. was an awsome afternoon still really wet at his farm which is always cool unfortunatly i have no photos :( exept my brakeage.
managed to tip the zuke on its side, was going down a steep hill with gorse either side and a big rut as bit as my 29 inch tire tryed to stradle it like the cruiser and hilux infront of me but the small zuke wheelbase wasnt wide enough so in she went, then found myself on my side but it felt worse as i was on a steep hill too and the fact that i had just faceplanted my face into a gorse bush lol.
put the zuke back on the trailer and saw some grease coming out of my hub, all the bolts had sheared off , i heard a clunk earlyer in the day but thought nothing of it. the pic below shows the damage. does anyone know how i can get these bolts out as they have no heads.??
