Had dinner in a road tunnel last night.

The new tunnel complex on the ALPERT (yeah stupid name) motorway extension by Waiwera was opened for a one off charity dinner with 2000 tickets. So now I can say I have walked and eaten in it. Other than that the weekend is boring so far.

So you won't pay to see top gear but you'll pay to eat in a tunnel??? :D

Would have loved to have a look thru there but heard the tickets sold quicker than top gear!!

Yep, just a big pair of concrete tunnels with really crappy acoustics so conversations are impossible. Would sound great with a V8 on song though.
