navarra 88 lsd fix

Have a mate with an 88 navarra twincab which he has repowered with a td27. Has a lsd in back but this is fairly worn - doesn't work at all. He has been advised it is not just a matter of retightening, but re-kitting with new parts to get this lsd up to good performance. Does anyone know more about what's needed here - and where you get bits for a navarra lsd etc - new or good secondhand. Or a good secondhand lsd?
