What would be recommended the Kumho Venture MT 35s or Mudzilla 33s?

Basically the question is what is better? bigger tyres or more aggressive?

For me 35s will mean a body lift, mudzillas will mean flares I think

Depends who you talk to!! This is an arguement that happens all the time. Basically it comes back to where you drive. If it is rocks etc that require lots of clearance then tyre hieght is it. If it is mud then tread is it. If it is soft wet mud then tread and height. If it is soft and bottonless then width is what you want. Soft with hard base then narrow and extremely agressive. etc etc. ie wet - dry. hard - soft. rock - mud - sand. On road as well?

i would go for the kumho kl71, it is a great all rounder and being a directional tyre clears well . At work we got sent results from a british tyre investigation in which all diff 4wd tyres got tested over diff terrains. the tyres tested included the likes of the goodyear wrangler mt\r, the kumho kl71,maxxis creepy crawly, mudzilla, a bfg tyre and some other ones, i think from memory the trepador was listed to and over all terrains ranging from sloppy mud holes to river beds the kl71 performed the best in all areas and took the title. cant remember who came 2nd or 3rd. i'll dig it out tomorrow and check. jus somethin to think bout fweddy

Thanks for all the comments guys. The Kumho option that I had has disappeared, I think what I'm going to do is just find another one or ideally two 33/12.5/15 MTs to be somewhat of a match to the three Durangos I have. This will keep costs down too since I already have some good tyres.

So if any one knows of a good tyre or two...

If nothing reasonable crops up I might just slap my two worn but still warrantable BFGs back on but it seems to make sense that while swapping rims etc I might as well get better tread.

fweddy checkout this guy that sells tyres trough Trade Me.

http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motor ... 959596.htm
He usually does some real cheap deals.

Failing that if you want some KL71's give Blairs (03-348 0729) a ring.
