air trapped in my lines

well i managed to get some clear fuel lines anyways put them all on and ive got air trapped between the top of the line which exits the filter and then goes to the pump and cant rid of it, is it spose to be like that?

have you tryed to use asecond fuel tank,20 liter jerry can or something,go from that second tank to fuel filter,if no air shows up between the filter and pump then u mite have a small hole or clamp not tite enough on the line from the truck tank.
33" muddies, 50mm body lift, ball joint flip, quick release front sway bar,40mm lifted rear dobi springs and new shocks,custom sill body armor,custom front bar.

Also no part of the line should be higher that the filter so that the air bubbles will rise back into the top of the filter where they can be bled off.
There is no mechanical problem so difficult that it cannot be solved by brute strength and ignorance.

thanks for the advice, started it up this morn and it was worse, say it will be coz of the clear pipes i used kinda make shifted them to work and must be letting air in, didnt realize how much air effects a diesel till now, really got to suss this issue

when mine was doing this,first time i descoverd that i had a prob was thatit was sitting idleing in a river bed,waiting for a mate to cross and died,got it going again,ran like a bucket of shit,had to keep ther choke on for the drive home.had a tiny hole in copper fuel line (rear diff breather had been rubbing) :oops:

it really is amazing to see how much was getting in

yeah its a pain in the ass, also when i pump the prime on the fuel filter i see fuel with bubble exit the pump heading back to the tank, so maybe my pumps letting air in, but i will try the jerry can as it could be anything

well i did everything u guys suggested but still getting air from somewhere anyways apart from that i found i have the wrong glow plugs so maybe thats got something to do with it, we will see
