If your axles moved back, whats given? Theres only the front spring mounts or the pins through the springs locating it...

Fit that Celica motor to it (didn't you say a while back you had one?)

If the front spring mounts are damaged then do this:

This drops the front mount 50mm or so, and gives you a bit of lift. Use longer shackles at the other end to keep castor about right, then you can fit long-ass shocks in and if you mod the steering you can use hilux rear springs up front as well, moving the axle forward for big tyres...

Then fit some coon springs in the rear, or just use longer shackles to balance the height, with longer shocks in the rear too...

Not as easy as it sounds when you say it fast, but makes a huuuge difference to the trucks ability.

Going to start modding my surf shortly in parallel with my Bighorn project so I still have a 4WD to play in while its being done... will take pics along the way.

Nah, just very happy when I have a grinder in one hand and the welding torch in the other :)

...although I swear a lot while I work on them, I really do enjoy it... honest

haha yip that is me the cambelt snappd about a min before that pic was taken :D and it was my drunken co driver that dived in the hole bout 5 mins later  ,,

Waterblasted the 6 inches of mud off the engine this morning and startd stripping to find out the extent of the damage and then had 2 go to work :x so i still dunno wether its a new set of rockers or the supra engine

eather way it looks like coon springs are going in as well as some serious reinforcement to the front, should be fun...
