Pre tension seatbelts?

Post by DaveM »

I failed a wof due to damage to the seatbelt (jammed in door), and of course, knowing my luck, its a pre tension seatbelt (read $$$$$$).
Do I have to replace it with the same, or can I go for a standard one, and is there a big difference?
Also, anyone know if the GQ/GU belts are the same, or is there anyone that can take a pic of the top mount on theirs and send it to me?

GU standard is $195+ gst
GU Pre Tension $400+ gst
GQ $40

Cheers,
Dave

Yeah, those are wrecker prices  I thought it was something to do with airbags, but the $195 one was from an airbag model :?
