you sure the o ring was not nicked /cut on assembly, any other o rings showing the same erosion?

mercutio wrote:some of the additives in modern diesels do eat o rings in some older diesels often all they need is just a replacement o ring pajero injector pumps often have 3 o rings that get eaten by modern diesel most people replace the top 2 and don't realise there is a third one. yorick had that issue on his paj injector pump and mentioned it to a mechanic mate of his and he said oh yeah they all do that
