where are we meeting at 7pm???? at the carpark area just before the ashley river or at belfast pub??? someone needs to post up a message saying the meeting time and where..... there is like 5 different ideas here, i say 7pm at the gras park area just before ashley river, its on the right about 100m away from the bridge, always met there and no one ever gets lost finding it.

Sorry about the local terminology!
The Peg is the name of the Belfast Pub. It is on the left just before the northern motorway starts.
Either place would work for me; however I am unclear from your description whether you mean the Main North Rd Bridge or the bridge just out the other side of Rangiora?

One thought I have had is that if we are meeting at The Peg then a 6.30 start time for a 6.45 get away time may be better. Don't want to miss out on play time now do we!

Its been called the peg for many yrs as there was & maybe still is a big white peg just before the "motorway" starts.

OK with guys wanting to leave from Rangiora and others thinking that track is the one, lets meet at The Peg drive out to Rangiora, meet again at the grassy are this side of the Rangiora Ashley Bridge near the BMX TRACK. We will be there at 7pm.
We can make a decision from there whether we go up or down stream.
