What bits do yo need exactly???

After last season's Laurie Sanson series chewing rapidly through my rear axle supply, i had a heap of rear diffs complete with diff heads but no axles. They got scrapped. Also scrapped a complete front end about two months ago. It was really hard throwing that stuff away. Even worse knowing someone could have used it!!!!

I'm down to my last two complete diffs, there are some parts i need, so can't give up a whole housing, but might be able to scrape together some stuff for you???

Th... Thr... threw away Lj50 parts :( Nooooo .
Sure you will give us all good notice if you are going to part with any more bits , eh .

Depending on what atate things are in and what I do with the j81 I may have a complete set of axles , but not sure at this stage . They would be an easier swap into a 50 than toy axles .

Cheers

Hey hey, i have dib's on those

I could probably spare a diff head for you.

As for CV's, track down a SJ410 housing and go to my LJ50 thread and do the disc conversion , its not worth worrying about LJ CV's and the shag around to change em.

My rear axles are precious  I have one thats good, but with out the bearing on it. If you reckon you can get the bearing and keeper and get them pressed on, you could have that i guess :D

Its got discs on the front allready ,so will it have 410 cv's?

I think il just hav to go convince my uncle to let me have his lj81 and take the diffs.
will they bolt straight into the 50?

Hmmm, would say its got 410 cvs then... I may have some of those bits spare, see what turns up when rotazuks toys land over the holidays, I have 2 sets of running gear but unsure what I need for myself yet. my LJ is a mall "cruiser" so dont expect too break stuff but no doubt it will go off road

Yep, will have the outer bell from the 410 CV's, and the inner star from the LJ cv's with the LJ axles.

The LJ81 axles don't bolt straight on, you will have to un-stitch the spring purches off the diff and move them in 50mm on either side and re-weld.

You will also need the LJ81 drag link.

Other than, easy as.

Oh, and you will be able to pull the swivel hubs off your 50 axle, seperate the CV'joints and use the disc conversion on the LJ81 axles.
