Karamea camping ideas

Swapped the wife's Mistral for the bro-in-law's (hosehustler) bighorn and poptop camper and heading towrads Karamea way with wife and boys. First time that way ever. Not interested in campsites with people, looking for a place on the beach, near a river mouth (freshwater), secluded. Got some snorkeling gear for paua and mussels, the hunting bow and fishing gear. Totally self sufficent. Any of you guys want to let away some secret spots I could borrow for a week.
