Hawkes bay is full of old people. Thats where they go to retire. My mum moved there at 62, Plus its flater than the rest on NZ. House price,s are much more and rallywoods is not there. Seems like theres only one choice. :mrgreen:

if i had to pick which NZ city to live in, it would be Welly, stayed there for the first time in Jan and loved it, and your straight on the ferry to the south island, to all them west coast trips.. real nice city, plenty to see and do.. why the f*@# do i live in Auckland.... :?

Yet my mum in napier is always saying things fall off shelves and i think they had a reasonable one just up the road in hastings last year. Few shops fronts collasped :?: :?: :?:.

Closer you are to the fault line the better the 4x4ing anyway :lol:

well im only 37 so by the time we get there i should still be young enough not to worry about earthquakes just look on the bright side and go offroading after one hits and find the new land formations to play on :twisted:
