rugger/blizzard axles

Post by Rotazuk »

Hi
Many years agao I looked at a set of daihatsu axles to put under my suzuki and found they were about 3.5:1 so canned it . Well now going to a lower ratio would work for a diesel zuk I have ( and besides I want the axles under it for something else ) .

So can anyone tell me what the spring width is centre to centre front and rear ?

Also if you know of a set lying abouy let me know as I may be after some . They will have to be cheep thou as you can get a hole car for $300-500 .

Cheers

Yep my Rugger diffs are looking for a good home. I have no idea what state they are in, the odometer says 160,000, and it has been sitting for the last three years so i don't really want much for them.

I'm hoping that by getting rid of them i can somehow get a Lux front axle as part of the deal, weather swap or sell them for enough to go some where towards the price of one. I have a rear axle already.

The spring platforms are roughly 980mm apart, thats a quick measure with a tape measure from the out side edge of each (closest to the wheel).

Gimme a ring on 027 357 9547 if ya interested!!!!

:? Didn'y get a chance to post this up last nigh for ya, but:

Both Axles offset to the drivers side

Rear platforms 980mm
Front platforms 800mm
Front Axle width from hub to hub 1540mm (free wheel hubs are 60mm long so 1420mm)
From where weels bolt onto the hub 1380mm, rear is the same

Ratio's to come...........

Definatly interested in the set of Lux axles if there for sale, the welded rear won't be a problem.........

Did you ever sell those axles?

I need the front one, but will take both if I have to...

Cheers.
