Lee, an I guess this goes for anybody else from other parts of the country.

Some of us in Wellington are normal intelligent functional humans. It’s just that they decided to teach the inbred retards around here how to use computers as opposed to other area's of NZ where the inbred retards are too busy inbreeding with other retards. This has caused the effect of many off them only being born with one eye and a penance for racist beating, raping and murdering the innocent and the vulnerable.

Dont let Bubba's rantings and ravings put you off, deep deep DEEP down inside he's nearly s nice feller. nearly...... He's allowed in Marty's (stinky) workshop with only ONE guard so he cant be too bad....

However. just to really piss you off.

Siwsan and I went to New Plymouth from Wanganui yesterday, (look at map) one way is about 190 KM.. 1hr 45 min taking it easy.
had lunch yadda yadda yadda came home, still 1:45 but!!! at the approx halfway stage, Siwsie sez, hmmmm not much traffic... so we started counting......

90K later we had 82 vehicles go past in the other direction. Jealous? slightly more than one kilometre apart....

thre years ago, we started touring the South island............. crossed on one of the three main passes.......... Lewis pass. 245K saw 12 cars in total.

WHEN are you getting here?

What more could a man ask for? OHHHH and just off the road, I saw CHAMOIS prints!! as well as Red deer. Siwsie wants to go back. Next year..... have to save the loot.

You're definitely on the right track Lee, the further north the better.

Don't even consider coming to Nelson in the top of the South Island, you'd hate it.

It's far too crowded, would you believe that two people actually bumped into me on the pavement last week! We have absolutely crappy weather, with it sometimes raining for two whole days in a row (and sometimes that happens more than twice a year)

Image
Main road after brief rain-shower

There are no good national parks on your doorstep, they're all almost out of sight of the living-room window, and trout, deer and pigs are almost non-existent. Lat time I went hunting I had to walk almost out of sight of the truck before finding anything of trophy potential!

Image
Local Playground

Our ski-fields are all well over a half-hour drive away and they're so inaccessible, the front-wheel drive family sedans sometimes need chains to get up the access roads.

We have a horrendous crime-rate you wouldn't believe (it doubled in the last year alone, with FOUR shoplifting convictions!!) and the absolute worst factor of all, no-one here is remotely interested in 4WD'ing. I don't know a single neighbour who has a truck. the closest twenty keen nutters live up to four whole blocks away.

We must have a really cruddy district council here in Richmond too, because the useless plonkers haven't even figured out that they should be charging people money to park in the main shopping precinct.

All in all, I can't figure why anyone would want to come here and I suggest you stay well to the north, on the other side of the Crook's Strait.

Unless you're a real masochist, of course, in which case a raving nutter like you would be more than welcome.

Cheers, Leigh.

FFS sake, go and have your head bumps felt or something, Bubba has only TWO moving parts, a mouth and an arsehole and THEY'RE interchangeable. Apart from that he has no vices, is stealing his only mates beer a vice?

Romour has it that he DOES own a truck, but nobody's seen it yet. have they? well nobody ADMITS they've seen it.

He is actually a good bloke. sometimes, if twice last year counts as sometimes.

Fortunately, I will have bought him a beer or two before he sees this post and will be forgiven and have one up on him.
