Toyota Spring seats F/S

I picked up a couple of spring seats for the Prado the other day only to find out they dont fit in my model (lj71) Was told they where from 70 series my mistake.

Hi Nick, why won't they fit ? I thought they would bolt straight in. I have seats out of a Prado, the same as yours in my 70# and the drivers side bolted to the original mounts, I had to make a new mount for the RHR mount where the LH seat bolted, the only reason that had to be made was because my original passenger seat was a double. This means if yours fits mine, mine should fit yours,

they came out of a 78 series (LWB) prado 1990-95 (as you saw when we took them out), I would have thought they would have fitted your 71 series 1985-89 but as we discussed there are a surprising number of differences between the two models. I'm sad to hear they don't fit, if you want to bring them back I'll be happy to give you you money back...... what was it $70 I think.... either that or you could sell them for the $100 your asking...... lol

LWB seat mounts are different to SWB, I looked at similar seats but found the same problem.
