Post by Jafa »

Having a thrash in the Waimak tomorrow night after work, 5:00 or so.
Which side has the most gnarly stuff in it? Anyone wants to, come down and have a play :D

The north side has a few banks and holes around the mud play area and a rock wall further up, the south side has a lot more interesting tracks running of the main road gravel track, Heres a lil video from one of the better tracks on the southside from sunday

South side definitely offers the best tracks. What time do the gates close in the evening?

Was hoping to make the Mac but all depends on what time I can escape as don't finish work until 1700. The Ashley is not a better choice; from SH1 major areas are closed off now, and significant parts of the riverbed are taped off for nesting birdlife.

Had a good play in the Ashley, lots of taped off areas, but fairly obvious where you can go and where's off limits.
Good to meet ya Smokey :D :D
We went further up than the Rangiora bridge, and found a nice little pile of rocks on the bank to play on and demonstrate the tipover point of my Jalopy to Cruzerboy,H20, and Smokey
Many thanks to Rick at 4wd Accessories for letting me borrow his press to fix a bent link, and for wiring in a compressor for me. That man deserves a beer!

Cheers chaps

You mean show me again   I think you're just showing off cause i've seen it on it side at least four times now 8) and on at least two of those occasions you were actually driving it   Just as well you've got a good strong cage in there, you could be doing alot worse than a couple of eggs on that ugly mug of yours

it sure is a cool piece of kit to see in action.
