As some of you might be aware we recently brought a zuki to replace Bubbles Safari

and here she is







and along side Bubbles Snr





after a quick look over the rear the back had to go due to to much rust in the roof so brought the rear pillar forward


then it was decided to take the back off completly




the kids even helped out


so now it looks like this




and after a bit more work the back was striped




so I have alot more work to do and all before easter

so wats the big master plan? keeping it stock or beefing things up abit? maybe put saf diffs under then it will almost be wider than it is tall

Well bit of an update
Striped the front end down today


then got the steel to close up the hole in the back

then tac welded the rear pillar on




I will weld it up properly when the welder I brought off Gazza arrives as this little on is shit and onle good for tacking

I was hoping to get a hold of a mates Prado from the insurance company after he wrote it off last week but they have said it will go to auction in a couple of weeks and that means I would be going against lineside autos and there pockets are deeper then mine so its going to remain suzuki running gear will do spring over make a highsteer kit and off space the wheels and put a full exo on it and the wife is going to paint it and then screw it so lets see how strong I can make

Dunno if your interested, but the tub (minus the front clip) and the full 6 point cage including the rear deck is up for sale at the moment (yet to hit trademe).

We have put a full body back onto it with an internal cage.

alternativly, are vitara rears offset? from my understanding they are the same width as hilux, with same size c/w. cheaper than prado...

ive got a standard ute rear axle housing sitting in the shed its yours if you want it??? will be a little wider than the zuki axle
