bling versus black

so i got some rims to fit the g but they are polished alloy
i am thinking of painting them black but yorick is trying to convince me to keep the bling factor
what say you guys

other colours may be suggested (but not necessarily listened too)

leave them as they are, there is nothing worse (well to a degree) than a nicely setup truck that has its rims painted. because you can almost guarantee after only a few outings they will get chipped and the paint will start flaking off. i have had 2 sets of rims powder coated, for 2 different trucks, and they have not chipped at all except for the area directly in contact with the wheel nuts and when they are on you cant even see its chipped. paint just flakes to easily as it gets older.

i dont know how well powder coating goes on alloy wheels, i shouldnt think it would be any different from steel.

One thing I have seen with Polished wheels, the mud doesn't stick to them as much so the cleaning is a lot easier cleaning well poor was world I feel guilty pre washing there
