Because I ordered it based on changing the front diff, which I'm not going to do now...

hope you are 100% sure that front is a 2 pinion, I have no idea what so ever, but wouldn't it be a good idea to do your front end before you sell the locker just in case, is there any chance it's a 4 pinion :?:
It would be a bugger if you sold it only to find you had the right part in the first place

It's not the right one for my old FJ40 - but which company did you buy it through, and did you have any problems? Ordering direct from the US seems heaps cheaper than through any local agents....

totally off topic but outta curiousity...
any1 recon it will matter what auto lockers you put front and rear?
eg if my rear is a detroit (outside wheel slips) and i put something different at the front where the inside wheel slips wil there be any major effects or pros cons to having them both the same??

PS sorry 4 the hijak bill ..... :)

Hi, Have had a look on the Rocky Road USA web site. Can anyone tell me if I`m looking at the right locker for a 1980 4.2l petrol FJ40?

There were only 2 options under landcruiser 68 down, and 68 +-. I assume I go fr the 68+-??? Part number RG1630.

Thanks.
