Good on ya Yeti. Great to see the smiles on the faces all right. I remember quite a few years ago the CLROC used to take kids from Chomondley (sp?) home out sometimes - they didn't even know how to throw stones into the water to play, but once they were shown they enjoyed themselves.

Excellent, looks like it was a good day out for the Camp Quality people.

Did they say tanks very much for the Jeep-boat rides????

My dad used to be a director of Camp Quality up here in Wellington a number of years back (and I helped him with the secretarial part of it)! The kids absolutely love their time away on the camps and it gives their parents a well deserved break as well.

Good on your for doing your part in helping to make a child's life memories happy ones! :D :D

Good on ya for taking your time out for Camp Quality,

I used to be a camper back in the day and did the companion thing a couple of times aswell, The experiences that I know i gain out off it was so worth while, just giving campers who a going though what no kids should have to go though the chance to have a break and make friends with people going though the same thing means so much. Also for many of them you will find they a so wrapped up in cotton wool - which is kinda understandable, the chance to do 'dangerous' things is like wow, I bet a few of them will be talking about it for months to come.
Scarfies on the piss,
