I went and checked out this 40 myself this morning.
All the detail is amazing.

I like this touch. Putting the outlet for the remote closer to the driver and higher.

Making up adapter plates for the shocks is a good shortcut.
Image

Making up flares to scope in cold air on the brake backing plate makes me think this thing never gets dirty.

The extractors are tinny.
Image

No snorkel. It's a shiny truck alright.

I like the stainless screws on the windscreen hinges are very bling bling. :D
I can also tell he never had the windscreen down with those ariels mounted there. :?

Having the handbrake on the driveshaft is a pain. But I love that strong looking diff brace.

Is that tow hook any good? :?

The soft top was what I'd call just average. It wasn't on nice and tight. It looks like it would flap like crazy. That would drive me nuts. But I still thought is was a awesome truck. Lots of detail. I'd still prefer an injected machine over this any day.

Hey look what else I found at the yard.
Now even tho is just a kit and powered with a SB 350 chev, I still just love the shape.

the only thing that doesnt look like some kousins from kaitia built that is the stainless screws!!, for that amout of money i would expect to see some paint underneath, those shock towers arent even painted!! and the diffs look discracefull!! the whole underside of that thing looks like any junk yard special!!

you could get a 500 doller truck and squirt some paint on it and it would be the same as that

ridiculous
