Its my first post so go easy, but was wondering whether anyone knows of a supplier of the Super Swamper TSl Boggers? i have a set of 33x14x15's on 12inch rims on my hilux and are looking at replacing them.
Everyone that i talk to say simex or maxxis but so far im unimpressed with the mudzillas in the mud. I rekon the simexs are too skinny unless i go 35 or 36 but cant justify moving the diff forward yet. Going skinny(er)means getting new rims.
any help would be great.

Most people I have spoken to don't like the Mudzillas... have you tried the kreepy krawlers? Theres a few guys on here running them reasonably happily.
35's will fit with a 50mm body lift, a bit of a seam-bashing on the firewall and decent springs in a Hilux. Moving the axle is nice, but not totally neccessary... 36's would need it moved.

Hey thanks guys. i'll try and find specialty tyres and give them a ring. i got my set second hand but ive been told they are pretty pricey.
I havent had a set of mudzillas on my truck Wacko, but a few guys round here do and my near bald (5,6mm) Boggers still make the new mudzillas look ordinary, so a brand new set of Boggers would be magic i rekon.
Bit of gaurd bashing for 35's aye Steve, ill have to think about that coz my 93 truck aint exactly showroom condition anymore so some more bashing wont look out of place lol.
cheers

Hay U-Boat, I`ve got those exact same tyres (size and all) but I made the mistake of putting them on the Nissan rims I had. They turned out to be 15 x 7" rims
I`m really not getting the full benefit of the 14" wide boggers.
Let me know if you are thinking of selling the rims or know of someone else with another set for sale.
I was going to go 15x10" (recommended on the tyre wall) but bet the 15x12" makes em pretty fat

Hey MNC, the rims make the tyres look awesome a. If i cant get another set of boggers, the rims might be obsolete, which annoys coz they arent that old. Only problem with rims this wide is that i had to make a custom wheel brace in order to get them off, or use a really long extension on the racket because they are so deep. The other prob is that it loads up everything on the front diff, so ive found hub seals and bearings and the like dont last as long as skinner rims, although it may just be that im too hard on the gear! They cost $140 each from the local tyre place. You can actually order whitespokes in any width you want, just costs more the wider you go.
What sort of truck you running them on? My 2.8 in the hilux struggled in some of the really shitty mudholes, thats why i slapping a hairdryer on the side of it, to boost the power!
Where abouts you get your set of tyres from? I havent rung round yet as ive been too busy. lol

15 x 12" rims for $140 sounds like a pretty good price. I was quoted $155 each for 15 x 10". I`ll keep an eye out on Trade-me for some rims unless someone out there has a bargin for me????
Let me know.
Got my boggers off Trademe - they are about 50% warn but with the right rims and some lockers in my FJ40 reckon I`ll do alright
. Truck has the 2F (straight 6, 4.2lt petrol) in it thats been ported and polished, matched extractors and twin barrel Holly carb so spins the boggers no problem.
