As always Jerry, premature, its not even the weekend!
Anyway, I got my radiator back for the GQ today, so will flush the engine and throw it back in, and get the oils/filters changed.

Well I finally did something 4wd related , drove 4 odd hours and picked up Nutta's LJ50 as its now mine :) , another 4 1/2 hrs home :(

Image

Just to be spitefull it would not start once home so it had to sit on the trailer outside for the night , that will teach it . After scraping out the mud that was more than a few inches deep in the foot wells , seeing the kiwi shella's beat the aussies in the beach volley ball :) I thought I should see if I could get it running . So sfter re-seting the points , pulling plugs etc and a little help from the can of engine start it roared into life , well as much as a two stroke can roar .

Had to pull the front drive shaft as the wheels were binding on the pavement for some reason , but after that it got the blat down the road . Had to be a bit careful as there was an open home a few doors down , not really a good look for a prospetive buyer , seeing a smokey Lj bussing down the road with no door .

Will slowly try and get it running a bit better and then decide what to do with it .

Cheers
Chris
