Re: where to go for shocks
my rancho's were primo,
i have a problem now tho as one of mine was test fitted upside down and stroked a few times to see if it would clear better and now its buggered... oops
now have to buy some more but getting some for the rear anyway so no biggy, A.F.W.E has ranchos in stock so give them a bell , the 999 series are 186 +gst each

Re: where to go for shocks
been asking around on the g wagen forum i frequent and looks like i do have a choice koni bilstein or sachs
koni have the advantage of being adjustable but they aren't adjustable on the vehicle got to set them then fit them
seems like most of the g guys use them on the softest setting though
got to find a supplier and get some prices then work out where to from there

Try the shock shop, I'm pretty sure they have a larger range of Ranchos. I deal with them through another company and may be able to get a decent price. PM.
