Wanted: hilux/surf diff head

Hi guys need a 4.3 diff for my 84 surf not an axle as this post use to be. Axle code says G254 but has had 4.3 lsd's put in By previous owner. Only i'm not 100% sure they are 4.3 as he only said he 'thinks' they are. Is there any way to tell on the actual diff?
This is what i did to my last one at laurie sanson


And also i think i need a new cv cause the spline looks like this


Also looking for an ecu for vn commodore 3.8v6 cause i think my one is being a bit funny

if u look on the ring edge u should be able to find it,usually in a circle,mayb able to help u out,have a 4.3 lsd out back i think,ill check the condition and confirm it is actually what the code says it is and if ya kn can try work something out,after $150,may also have an open if one of the other ore boys dont take it,txt me if ya want 0273242055

Pretty sure i have a 4.3 open diff in the shed somewhere and a couple of cvs too, pm me if you want to come as far as hamilton if you dont have any luck finding one up your way.

sory to thread jack, but i have a related question.. do the front and rear diffs have to be the same ratio? and are the front and rear diffs the same/interchangeable???

Cheers, hopefully i can get them local otherwise hamilton's only a short journey now with the amount of times i've been there. Actually my boss is there at the moment, maybe he could bring them back... hmmmm

To gauge the ratio of any diff which is out of vehicle, count teeth of ring gear, then count teeth of pinion, then divide (calculator is handy for this part ), the result is the ratio

Hi, I've got about 20 hilux CV's if anyone needs them. $30 each or $50 a pair. they are just about all origional toyota ones. $50 each with axles.
I am also going up to auckland (via rotorua,tepuke, tauraunga etc) on thursday so could deliver along the way.
