vitara gearbox/tcases

Can any one tell me if the vitara / escudo manual boxes are all the same (ie can a tcase off one be put onto another), or are there different models so parts aren't readily interchangeable?

Could easily be wrong here...but isnt it one unit? Transfer isnt seperate from gearbox? Although I know 2 seperate filling points for fluid. I have never heard any talk of there being any more than 1 type though.

They are assembled into one piece but are two seperate "cog boxes".
