no differences, only thing is they were badged in aussie as the bundera, whereas here they are badged as a prado. the lj71 became the 90 series prado. model changes were from

85? to 90 : 2LT
90 to 93: 2LTE
93 to 95: 1KZTE
70 series prado (KZJ78) and 90 Series Prado (KZJ95)

the earlier LJ71's had a slightly different suspension setup to the later 90+ models, still coils, and drum brake rears.

Far as i know it's just the aussie model. Although were the prados sold in aus with the square shape?

Mine's the same shape as Jerry's old one - 87 model, ex 2L-T. Coils, disc front and drum rear.

I would've guessed the different body style would be just to do with the different model/ages of the prado we get in NZ.

The Bundera had a rotating end at the rear of the front suspension radius Rods where the Prado has a pressed bush.

And Hilux CV's. The front diff is in a different place also - the prado is more centered.

On the front, in the square headlight verison the front shocks are inside the coils, on the older round headlight verision the shock is on outside like this one

So they are both the same except different in body shape, badging, suspension, brakes, dash, axles.

So they have the same seats and motor, does that mean a Camry is the same as a Prado for the same reason
