Hey does anyone know who's truck this is, and anything else about it? I have a good friend who may well be keen as she's looking for her first 'zuk at the moment.

Hi, thanks for the reply.

I wanted to know what had been done to running gear, suspension, body-lift etc. I figured that if it known by someone on here I would get an honest run-down.

My friend however has, tonight, just bought the little blue '91 soft-top from here in Nelson. If I win lotto however, I will be keen myself, LOL.

Cheers
Leigh

That was how I sold it to you Al but I assume you replaced the springs etc during its time with you as they wouldve got tired (made by Archers springs in south Auckland - had a few issues getting it level too). Had the rag top made to fit ($900) and never looked back, loved it and sold it for too little to Al and had a piece of Shit hilux for the next 18 months until I got sick of it. Wished I never sold it and just bought a daily driver instead, keeping it for a fun wagon. Cause long trips arent too much fun in a SWB leaf sprung truck.

Good job.

Was that the one that just listed on Trademe today?

I was looking at it and trying to come up with enough coin to get it. Bloody good buy!

good shiney zuk, drivetrain a bit weaker than a samurai/Sj413, basic lift a locker in the rear, away you go. Suspension doesnt work without major work, but club stuff you cant go wrong.
