Try Calibre engineering (used to be Papakura engineering) - they do cut to length steel retail sales. They have pretty good stock and you can buy any length you want.

im making a reece hayman hitch so the reciever needs to 60x60x5 to then recieve a 50x50x5 box like this

Make a bit out of 65 x 65. Cut it down and then weld it up. Might not be as strong though (depends on your welding skills I guess

Re: tow bar steel 60x60x5
I just went out and checked my box of cut up tow bar parts that I cut up to make one many years ago , but no 60x60 . I have 50x50 with a 40x40 reciever both are still 5mm wall so the streight is just about the same as the 60x60 and 50x50 so why not just do the same ? Guess standard recievers are 50x50 ?

when I made my hitch I cut down two pieces of 65mm right angle and welded them together

65x65x6 is in the fletchers catalogue, that's only 53mm square on the inside hole. You need an anti-rattle device of some type anyway.
But when I called fletchers yesterday the (obviously new) guy on the other end told me they don't have any pipe over 150mm. Maybe by now he's found the other pages in their catalogue.
