SWB Safari Gran road tow wagon

Post by Heath »

Any good for towing? My old man will be getting rid of his when he swaps the turbo over to his LWB one (swapping one lot of stuff to the other and vice versa). First job is to replace the engine in the old one as it is stuffed (have one sitting next to it in the shed just have to install it :? ) and then swap shit over.

I want something that is good on gas and will tow my zuk when I am finished it. I have a 2wd courier ute at the moment and although it is okay I want something a little more robust. OF course the bonus will be a "shiney" to play in as well.

What sort of value are they worth (manual and pto winch) late 80s model, diesel?

i scored mine about a year and a half ago for $5200, it had 216,000kms on it and everything was good on it, no turbo just a stock truck. 1988 4.2 diesel, if that helps.
