Hey, wondering if there is anywhere in Canty that hire out quads over night? Or even just for a day. Wanting to organize a trip for work as I finish up there soon.
We have already done the one in Hamner and the one near Springfield seems a bit steep so this is the last plan.
Any help/ideas appreciated.
Cheers, Taz.

Dunno about down there, but up here almost every quad bike shop hires them out as well. I've always had good service from two suzuki bike dealers in hamilton.
Re: Quad Hire in Canterbury.
Yeah someone suggested that bike shops probably wouldn't mind hiring out 2nd hand stock but we are after around 8-10 and didn't think it would be to likely we would be able to get that many from one place (one place means less mucking around).
Probably will end up being the best option though.
Cheers for that.

We usually hire 5 or 6 every easter for a church camp and there is always plenty where we get them from. Worth a try

Yeah probably should have checked before we wrote it off. Assumption gets your no where!
Put of interest if you know off the top of your head how much would you pay per day for one?

Re: Quad Hire in Canterbury.
There is the outfit up in the Hundalees that does treks. Are you wanting to do that sort of thing or just have the use of the bikes and take them to where you want to go?
Sold my 1985, BJ74 MWB Landcruiser, rear locker, 33" MTs, snorkel, PTO winch, solid bars all round, spotties, AM CB etc.
Now just a 1994, 1kz Surf, pretty standard.

Sorry i wouldn't have clue but we would of got a deal anyway. I'm sure if you get enough you would get a good deal, Cause it wouldn't be their main income as opposed to a hire place where that is all they do.

Managed to miss this post :S
Just looking to hire now as we can't find treks with prices that are competitive enough compared to the Hamner crew (backtrax).
Had a ring around for hire but no joy so will put it on the back burner for now I think. Might do another trip to Hamner in a few months when it will have changed around a bit instead.
Cheers.
