If it is wet then the trip will be cancelled, there may be a drive to ocean beach but no alterntive trip will be availible now.

I am sorry but did pass around the idea of Rallywoods, if it is wet and had to be cancelled, but was told by more than one person that that was not good enough because Rallywoods is not a place for shineys and that it wasn't good enough and that I needed to find a better place.

So if some would like to put together an alterntive trip, then feel free to do so because I am not wasting any energy, if people are going to have bitch at me, because I can't control the weather

Just to Clarify, I wasn't taking a shot at ya Curly, just that I ain't been out for a wee while and was lookin forward to a little wheelin this saturday

How about red rocks, should qualify as a Shiney, devils gate is the only rough spot but would be easy to guide the shineys thru. worth a look

If it's raining too hard the V8's stop playing.
When they were at Teretonga they stopped racing on Saturday afternoon because it was too wet !!

so how are we supposed to find out the trip has been cancelled????

Updated foreast is for Rain http://www.weather.com/outlook/travel/b ... v_business (its certinaly looking very murky here at Wainuivegas at the moment

So do we replace this with a shiny trip round red rocks as suggested and then an optional overnight and sunday play at Rallywoods??? (shiny's can jump in free seats)

Whats happening trip leader??????

OK, cheers, no promises though. The overnight part won't be happening....got to feed critters, but may make it down Sunday, and I'm taking a stab in the dark and would need my good mud tyres.........duh.

Trip update

sorry for the late posting but I've just got home

Unless its torrential rain and thunder and lightening the decision will be made down at the coast at 9am as to what we're going to do, rallywoods has been booked as a plan B backup where we can all go for the night and it will be nice and slippery up there for a play if the rain comes.

Theres a few different parties involved in making the decision down at the coast and it may be possible to do an ocean beach run before going up to rallywoods if its shitty and theres also the possibility of going around the south coast past red rocks as a day trip?

The Orongorongo Station have offered 14-15 March as an alternative weekend if we decide to cancel this weekend
