fully certed, not over priced at all. at least 1 grand worth or suspension and the diff cost another grand. comes with a free 1600 efi motor. its actually a bloody good deal

ive seen rusty 1200 coupe for 2g so with all the bits and bobs i think its a good deal i sold my old 1200 sadan rally car for $5600 and that was just with a warm 1200 in it

trying to sell my car to get it, yea didnt really read the auction until a few days ago. an saw the stuff done, youve got an engine upgrade, suspension, LDS, new tyres an decent mags bucket seats with seat blets, an custom brakes as well. does it have a backseat? or do you still have it around somewhere? pretty cool datsun hope i sell my car soon!

will it pass its next wof with the rol cage in place? or do you know a place that will let me keep it warranted? ive had a few offers on my cars but most were insulting like 2000 below asking price (i mean cmon!) but yea still on there getting abita views an offers

the cage is fully homologated by MANZ so will have no problem getting warrent. You can take it anywhere to get warrent there is nothing that would stop it getting one at all. everything that is different is certed. WOF runs out in a couple of weeks but am happy to get it another one once it sells.

yea im sure mate lol. i used to have a RA 555 edtion i know what their like. Ive had all sorts of things offered in trade for this but have just bought a house with misses so need the cash

also was wondering what sort of ca18 it is? looks alot different than any ca18 ive seen, most are big nissan engines? am i getting my wires crossed? i looked on wiki an couldnt find any engine that looked the same, most are EFI not carb, are the pictures you have on trademe recent? also do you know weither a ca18det will bolt onto engine mounts? or possibly ca16det? what other options of engine upgrades can be done with ease(without fabrication to firewall or mounts) basiclly what bolt on mods can be done, that will be certed easily? not to familiar with datsuns but will do some read ups.

Its a ca18 single overhead cam carby. Ive got a ca18det sitting beside it that will come with it if wanted. Yup will bolt right up. Also have a shiny new ca16de sititng beside it too. Wont bolt straight up as the ca16 goes in the other direction but wont take much modifcation to make it work. alot of people put 4age motors in but im not sure what work is needed for that

is there anything wrong with the ca18det engine? how much ks it got? do you need to change the gearbox if i put the ca18det in it? what gearbox does it have currently? any firewall mods required? is it quite an easy conversion? ive had a 5k offer on ym wrx so should be taking that, an got someone else ocming to look tonight an thursday night to.so hoping to get rid of it this weekend!

The motor thats in it prob has a blown head gasket not sure. CA18 will bolt straight up to the gearbox and engine mounts will be the same. No firewall mods neeed. Its got a 5 speed out of a bluebird in it.

chchzookfan, go have a look at the thing and ask some questions, you obviously don't know much about rally cars, so don't you think you would be better looking at it in person as there will probably be a lot more questions that you can think of when you see it

would prefer to get rid of my car first.. before i start shopping(otehrwise i get all excited an get my hopes up, then someone comes an buys it from underneath me).im the sorta person that actually turns up with the cash in hand an shows them so they know im not wasting there time. an can just say yup il take it or not.

some guy said to me he wud take the wrx an to hold it from other people so i did, its been 3 days now frekn pain in the arse an no contact to even say he didnt want it, still got others interested but keep getting the same ole crap "how low will you go" when the auction states, price is firm... i hate trademe tards thinking they will get a 6k valued car for less than 4500...
its already the cheapest on trademe so i dont get why people are asking for reductions in price...

no i dont know much about rally cars but im keen to learn an maybe go in some easy race tracks.. i could probably drop the ca18det in with help from my friend who does alot of skyline engines swaps.. so yea wouldnt be to huge a thing as long as all the gear is there an working which is why im doing the whole 20 questions, an i know what its like to have people stuff you around with cars so i prefer to be straight up about it, which is why i say ive gotta get rid of my car ect so they know where im at.never done a ca18 swap but seen a few rb25 swaps done which was pretty cool an this thing wud rip up with a turbo in it
