Pete's been there :D :D I'm sure he'll have a few photos of it. Should take your 40 along the beach when it's finished, a few good little hills there

Ahipara is way off, thats Wilson Road which leads to Muriwai Beach which heads up to South Head, Kaipara.

Was really good up there last weekend, although the sand was a scorcher!!!

That's a nice looking 40 Zebedee. Reckon it would be a shame to rough it up

aye - as i learned on that excursion, not every track in woodhill is meant for 4 wheels. and with no lid on i ended up with an awful lot of tree parts in the truck. oh, and it's embarrassing to have to come out backwards even IF no-one is watching

It looks like I have caught the 4wding bug pretty bad, I also have a very understanding girlfriend... these photo's are the evidence.

I have started breeding landcruisers!

Image
Image

Longstory short, I started with a MWB holden V6 powered Landcruiser. Had this for about a year, had lots of fun. But recently incurred some panel damage. So I was hunting for some spares, then ended up buying 2 more MWB cruisers  Surprisingly the girlfriend has not killed me in my sleep? :o

- The silver/black one is dereg with lots of rust and Auto is slipping, but low k's 13BT! 8) This one will be parted out to fix up the holden-cruiser and supply spares.
- White one has reg on hold and good body, manual and nice healthy 3B...plus PTO winch! Plan to get back on the road as is then swap over the 13BT later on. Anyone after a spare 3B?
- Yellow one is my brothers "custard square"

So I've decided to keep the White one and build that up to be a good diesel offroader and sell the 'holden-cruiser', its been a great truck and very capable but I can't afford to keep both :(

Rightio, better update this seeing as I've (finally) seen the light and bought a Toyota. Bought the prado in the photo a couple weeks back and am pretty happy with it so far.

Image

Sold the terrano (on the left) for it and wouldn't look back. Went alright for being standard down the ashley the other weekend and will be a longish term project (all about the money) but it will get there.

Cheers, Rhys.
