would removing the thermostat make a safari run cooler?

if it running hot something could be wrong. diesels like steady temps
89 safari, pto winch, 33x15 simexs. sliders,75mm lift . turbo intercoolered

hmm runs hotter than it used to will be putting a temp gauge ontit soon to see how hot it is

You need one of my special race vents :lol:
Have ya had the rad cleaned out
swb lux with 7mge, trailgear crossover, trailgear rear lift kit, custom front bar, runva 1200lb winch, custom snorkel, 37" Mtrs, custom deck, lockright in the rear.

yeah its all been cleaned etc

just had a look they are the 26th of april

i could be keen for a trip up to kihikihi never been there before so could be fun

Thought mine was running hotter when I my thermostat and water pump got done a year or so ago. Turns out it was just giving me the correct temp for a change :D
